16.2

I have lost (in 7 weeks) 16.2 pounds! I've done good and I'm proud of myself. I can feel my double chin retreating and my boobs shrinking! (What a bummer!)

Not much else new - we'll talk to you all later. Love to all.

13 total

Last week I was down 2.2 lbs for a total of 13 lbs lost in 6 weeks - yea for me!!!!

On to more exciting news - well, I don't know about exciting but certainly more entertaining! Saturday Sky and I took the kids to Project LEAP at the Lambeau Field Atrium - it was o.k. but I was standing in line to the rock wall behind a skinny woman in a pink shirt. I turned around and back again - there was a fat woman with bleach blonde hair standing in front of me who said, "I sure hope the wait in line is worth it." !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!Holy Camoly!!!!!!!!!! I was livid, LIVID, I TELL YOU!!!! Stupid woman - I'm all talk and no play so I just stood there and smilied. I'm a whimp because if I had more balls I'd'a told that woman to get her fat ass to the back of the line and let me know if it was worth the wait! So, we left not too long after that.

Now I do realize I was stupid to think that we could have a nice dinner at 2pm in the afternoon. But, we went to the Rustic Railroad and got seated. At the top of the menu it stated, 'serving lunch daily from 11am to 2pm.' So, I asked for the dinner menu. And, of course, I was told that most of that stuff they didn't serve until 5pm. Again, being the whimpy, ball-less woman that I am only wondered, but didn't ask, just what the hell do you serve from 2pm to 5pm????? We wound up ordering an appetizer - not too impressive, and decided we'd find dinner elsewhere. So, we drove around looking for liquer store after liquer store until Sky found some Johnnie Walker Gold (he wanted Blue but, kept looking for a better price) and then started thinking about where we wanted to grab dinner. The problem with Green Bay is - there's no variety! And, I truely miss the Timber Lodge! We wound up eating at Texas Roadhouse but at 4:30p there was already a nearly 20 minute wait - tell you something about nice dining choices in Green Bay? Anyway, the place was packed and this was my 3rd time being here. The 1st two times I hated everything but the meat. Thankfully, I enjoyed every bit of my dinner -so, I will go back.

Later that night around 7pm, I started having chest pains - terrible ones. I'm only 30! At 9pm I drove myself to the hospital and fear set in by the time arrived. I became tearful and couldn't speak. They got me back, leads on, O2 on, started and IV, drew blood, and got me x-rayed. Pain was a 10 out of 10 it hurt that bad! The male nurse - I really liked him - funny, gave me some Maalox and said it didn't taste bad - I downed it and gave him a 'you lyin' SOB' look - he said, "it's not the first time I've lied to a woman." I told him it was laced with liquid orajel or something - my whole mouth and throat went numb (turned out to be lidocaine). It made me feel better though. Over about a 20-30 minute time frame the pain subsided completely - I have GERD. Oh joy, right. So, now I get to take some Protonix for a while - hopefully not forever. How embarassing! Not as embarassing as the time I went to the hospital with worms though. {I was pg with Justin, peed, saw a worm in toilet - still moving! I collected it - threw the spoon away - put the worm in a zip loc bag - zippy, I call them. Headed to the hospital. They had me poop, drew blood, I was there about 4 hours. They had to send it to the state lab for identification - I had earth worms - come up through the pipes. Now that - was embarassing!}

As if my weekend couldn't get any worse; I was the committee chairperson for the Blue and Gold Banquet and have been planning this for over a month now. I forgot about it! I was supposed to meet the girls at the Legion to help decorate, pick up the food at 4pm, and the banquet started at 5pm. At 3pm me and Sky and the kids were out and about checking out the flea market. Around 3:30, as we were leaving, I didn't want to go home but, Sky didn't want to go walking around the mall. We did need to go to Wal-Mart but, ultimately I decided we'd just go home. A very unlikely decision for me to make. I checked my messages at 4pm, heard one of the ladies' voices, tossed to phone at my husband, jumped up and down in shear panic, and ran out of the house, stealing my husband's truck and left. The evening turned out alright in the end. One of the ladies said if I hadn't said anything no one would've ever known - but, I don't think I could've lived with the guilt! Now, only 4 people managed to sign up for bowling so I have to call or email EVERYONE! Blimey! I could use a breather.

Talk to y'all later.

I had to keep telling him, "use your legs!" So many keep pulling and pulling and forget about pushing with their legs. Posted by Picasa

3.4!!!

Well at the last weight watchers meeting I was down 3.4 lbs! Yeah! for me. Anyway, I decided to get creative with breakfast yesterday morning so I'll tell you what I had:

1 egg (s&p, about 4 slices of pepperoni cut up, and a few onions)
prepared omelet style.

I coated a tortilla with 1tbsp of light crm cheese and placed the omelet on top (I didn't fold the omelet over). Then, I sprinkled about a quater cup of shredded reduced fat cheese over the omelet and rolled it up - I liked it - it was tasty.

I think that was about 7 points.

So, for dinner last night I made a recipe out of Taste of Homes Light and Tasty - 8pts:
in large skillet coated with cooking spray cook large sweet red pepper and a little fewer of green peppers (sliced into thin rings) with onion slices (separated into rings) in about 1Tbsp of olive oil for about 7 minutes. Add in 1/2 cup dry red wine, 2Tbsp of brown sugar, and 2 teaspoons of balsamic vinegar (I mix theses together first and then add to the skillet), reduce heat to low, cook until liquid evaporates (remove and keep warm). Put 4 bone -in pork chops - 7 ounces ea - in to that skillet, brown on each side in 1Tbsp of olive oil (3 min each side). Then reduce heat, cover and cook for 5-6 minutes or untill done. Serve with the sweet pepper relish on top. Very good! I had some flavored rice with it although it should be a dish in itself.

On to other news - I don't know where I was coming home from the other night but it was dark and I had a kids' cd in. halfway through the cd I burst out laughing at my self because I realized I was the only one in the van howling at the top of my lungs: "I like my cow, my cow likes me. I feed my cow by the green berry tree. And, my little cow says - Mooooooo! and my little rooster says cock a doodle do de do de de do de do de de do!!!!!!!!!" I turned around a little bit and asked the boys if they would kindly join me in singing because I was having a good time but can't be singing kiddie songs all by myself. They laughed!

Me and Sky have been playing Axis and Allies - for about 7 hours so far, three complete turns - I suck! Anyway, I have long said that my husband has jedi powers - and it's True!!! He can will the dice and it's so terribly frustrating. I'll take back the Soviet Union and Great Britain somehow, just wait!

Well, I think that's it for now. If they're any typos - my letters are appearing about 2 strokes after I type - sorry.

Love to all!

An old picture for you all to enjoy - Justin and Tyler. I'd say Tyler was about 10 months - not sure, though. So, Justin would've had to been about 3.  Posted by Picasa

Tex-Mex pizza Yummm!

I had to alter some of the ingredients - for ex, I didn't have any cilantro

Cook tiny cubes of chicken (3/4 lb) and small cubes of a yellow bell pepper (1/2 of a medium) in a pan with 1 Tbsp of canola oil over med heat.

Heat oven to 450 degrees.

Transfer ckn mix to clean plate, wipe out pan and heat 4 whole-wheat flour tortillas (about a min ea side) and transfer to cookie sheet. Spread 1/2 cups worth of salsa over the 4 tortillas, top with ckn mixture, sprinkle with shredded reduced fat mont-jack cheese (it called for 2/3 cup overall).

Bake about 6 min (til cheese is melted). Sprinkle with cilantro (I used tarragon). Cut into wedges and enjoy - good.

Each pizza is 6 points.

dinner idea

I wasn't in the mood to cook - I never am. But, I came up with a great dinner!

I sprayed a pan with cooking spray, added my ckn breasts, sprinkled with ckn seasoning and tarragon, cooked to a little brown and turned them over. Since the pan was getting dry I sprayed some more cooking oil but realized that wouldn't get it so - - I poured in some cooking sherry. I let it finish cooking turning the ckn once more. Needing something to go with it or on top of it I opened a can of creamed corn (added a little s&p). I topped the ckn with the corn and had a couple of biscuits on the side (to scoop up the corn with, too). It was really good!

Total points:
ckn evens out to about 1pt per ounce (bnlss & sknlss)
1/2 cup creamed corn = 2pt
biscuits = 1pt each

Good job, huh?

Of course, you could add some greens to give it a more colorful look and take up space but, like I said - I wasn't in the mood to cook.

Another loss

Just wanted to let you all know I'm down another point for a total loss of 7.2lbs.

Here's my recipe for 5pt chicken fajita omelets:

1/2 cup eggbeaters
2oz precooked, tiny cubed chicken
bell pepper, onion
1/2 slice of cheese
top with salsa

Here's my recipe for 6pt chicken salad sandwich:

4oz precooked, tiny cubed chicken
1 Tbsp light mayo
onion, 2 apple slices cubed
sm amt of relish
mix and put on 2 slices of .5pt bread and you'll have enough to eat on the side, too.

At the beginning of the week I'll take a pkg of ckn brsts and cut it into really tiny bites, put into a lightly sprayed pan and coat with ckn seasoning and tarragon. After it's cooked I'll put it in a dish so it's ready whenever I need it.

Another thing I like to do is take a tortilla shell and cover it in 1Tbsp of light crm cheese, put some of the ckn on there and maybe some lettuce and shredded cheese, or just salsa. It's a good idea to heat the tortilla (flour) shell in a pan first so it won't tear so easily.

Also, I've found a treat called Pocky in the mexican/thai aisle at wal-mart. There are about 18/19 chocolate or strawberry covered biscuit sticks and the whole package is only 4pts. So, half for 2pts.

Hope everyone is doing well - love to all.
