Justin's Graduation from High School

Justin receiving his diploma.  That is the Board president handing them out.  I did good - and didn't loose it.  He graduated as an honor student, and Global Scholar for which he wore a green rope.

Justin and Dane

Justin and Ms. Tubbs - English, Brit Lit, and more - I think he had her for something all 4 years.

Justin and Kolton.

Justin and Mrs. VanGheem - his UWGB Spanish V teacher

Justin and his diploma

Me and my boy - I'm so proud!

Justin and Tyler

Grandpa Terry & Justin

With Lorelai

I love the angle on this one - I think it's pretty cool

Proud dad!

Justin and Will

Now he's ready for a summer of working before heading off to college to learn how to make video games!  (At least I know there is a career to be had!)

Brandon and Alyssa at Lambeau

Brandon and Alyssa were up visiting for Justin's graduation and wanted to swing by Lambeau.

Cheering the Pack on!!

Say cheese-head.....

Tyler's First Job!

Well, the pic's are pretty self-explanatory....  Tyler got a job at Commando Paintball & Sports.  He loves it - as you can see....

Not only does he get filthy - he stinks too!

Looking pretty cool, I'd say.

Yeah - he likes his job.... I love it that they're wearing tutu's!  LOL!

Magic Men!

Had a fun time - as you can see - with Kimber and Lisa watching hot young men dance mostly naked.  Yeah, can't NOT have fun with that!!

This is what happens when three ladies have a drink and know they're about to see something HOT!

Yep, we're ready!

And, if only I could get a good pic!

Yes, that's right.  It's Raining Men!!  LOL!

Our attempt at a selfie to win a trip up to the stage (for free) - they actually had lots of women grace the stage - for $20!  And, the men did come out into the audience - even those of us up in the rafters.

If I'm completely honest I'll say, it wasn't as good as I had expected.  They weren't in g-strings and only occasionally showed a little hiney (I was hoping for some full frontals!).  There was a lot of screen stuff and less dancing than I had imagined.  HOWEVER, it certainly beats whatever else I had planned for a Wednesday night - and I got to hang out with some pretty cool friends!

Star Trek - 50th, with my mama

We got to go see Star Trek celebrate 50 years - the symphony was so amazing!  It was hard to believe they were actually playing - they were so good!

The set up was very cool and the clips from all the Star Trek's since it's inception was a wonderful trip down memory lane.  So well done and just exciting to see.

One of many selfies - these are our serious faces.  Don't piss us off - this is what you'll get (don't laugh) - LOL!

Looking pretty!

Excited for the show!! I'm glad my mama moved 900 miles to live near me.  It's fun to do stuff like this together.  We had a great time!

Joshua's 3rd Dance Recital

Finishing up his 3rd year in dance, 2nd year at New Fusion - these pic's are slightly out of order .....

Having lunch at St. Brendan's Inn between show's 1 & 2 on Sunday afternoon

Selfie before leaving the house.  Ironically, his Hip-Hop dance was to the song #Selfie

Right outside the theatre - we love The Meyer!!

Close-up on the red carpet...

The day is done!  Two amazing shows - 3 dances in hip hop, tap and jazz.  I'm proud of this boy!  He's super talented and has a kick-ass personality!

Mother's Day with my granny

It was evident that granny might not be with us much longer and it was important to visit with her before she was too far gone to remember me or before my last memories of her would be of her suffering and on her death bed.  I'm lucky in that I live so far away it's not convenient for me to be there during that sorrowful time and I have great compassion for those who are there suffering with her, even as I write this blog post nearly a month after visiting with her.  My granny is a wonderful woman who has taught me a lot - much of which I rely on in raising my kids and dealing with people, in general.  One thing that is prominent is "will it matter 6 months from now?"  So, if it's not going to matter then, why should I get my panties in a wad about it now.  I love that one!

Thirteen years ago I dropped Justin off for his first day of 1/2 day kindergarten.  I was so emotional I spent 10 minutes in the parking lot just a boo-hooing to my granny.  I thought of her and that time an awful lot this past week as Justin graduated high school.

Granny and I had many interactions that were adult-like.  She talked to me and taught me much and I suspect because of that I was much more ahead of my peers in terms of thought and thought process.

At any rate, she is suffering and sad and ready to leave this world.  She's lived a good life with much love had, and much love given.
