Discovering Winter Activities

Joshua is in 9th grade now.  One of the classes he’s taking is Outdoor Rec.  They have a research paper (not really research) about SAE’s, Supervised Agriculture Experiences.  Those experiences are usually more internship-like for older kids or or labs/activities involving younger kids or kids in extracurricular groups, to the best of my knowledge.  So, with some adjustments, he’s supposed to write about activities/experiences he aims to learn about or improve on.  So, his focus has been mostly sports activities related and less agriculture.  (In the class they are earning their licenses to drive snowmobiles, hunt/gun safety, tracking, etc.)  So, I took Joshua to Wausau where we could experience dog sledding and skijoring - activities he’s never seen before nor have heard of...skijoring - it’s a thing. ;).
