I love cinder blocks! This DIY bike storage cost me $9. Blocks are .92 cents at Menards, 6x8x16 (height, width, length). Laid on their sides and staggered with two PVC pipes running through the holes so the bikes don't roll. With the bike with pegs they rest on the blocks. Works well. Only other recommendation I'd make is to use cement glue to prevent the top blocks from sliding. Other than that, paint of you like. ?? I just wanted them up out of the drive way. Kickstands only last a few months around here.
