On the day we came home Joshua had lost down to 9lb 6oz. At his first Dr's appt. he was back up to 9lb 13oz (7oz gain in 4 days). That was on breastmilk alone. A few days ago we stopped the breast feeding - he had to feed through a shield and he got so frustrated getting the milk to start flowing into the shield I just decided it wasn't worth it to see him that way.
I had my 1st follow up today and learned that I was 11lbs lighter than my prepregnancy weight. Yipee!! My doctor started to take off my steri-strips and I stopped him. I told him I have a very unrealistic fear that I'm just going to pop open. He laughed and assured me that wouldn't happen. But he was kind enough to leave the rest on.
Justin didn't win the pinewood derby race. He won 1 out of 3 races, though. So he was happy he at least won one race.
Tyler is doing well. We are going to start mall-walking with Joshua while Justin is in school.
Sky went back to work Thursday, I think - he was going stir crazy. Tonight is his first of 3 night shifts.

I had tried a while ago to give y'all some information about the delivery however, I was having technical difficulties. One of my captions says 'thought I'd share some detail.' That's it - nothing more. I had added an entry but for some reason it didn't post properly. So, I'll try again - keeping it short and sweet. First, I had general anesthesia (they tried the spinal 4 times!). Joshua got knicked on the way out because my uterus was so scarred they had no idea where the baby was located, how he was laying, or how deep they needed to cut. I've been told before that my uterus was 'abnormal.' Anyway, he was super glued together and the scab is gone now. Those were the highlights. This was a much easier recovery than after having Justin and Tyler. Oh, I also got a vertical incision at my request. About 5 inches from belly button down.
OK, well, I hope this posts! Hope you all are enjoying the site.
