Just before a diaper change. Check out them sock lines. But, he looks happy, don't he? Posted by Hello

Ooh! I'm half nakad. Think he likes it? Posted by Hello

Justin - growing up too fast! Today we're taking Joshua for show and tell. Posted by Hello

I love this boppy pillow. I really don't like them always laying flat on their backs. Joshua seems to like it too. Posted by Hello

The cat climbed into his lap - I couldn't believe it. Of course, this was after being sought after by a one-year-old. Who would have thought the cat would have taken solace to Tyler - his usual tormentor. Posted by Hello

Updates

On the day we came home Joshua had lost down to 9lb 6oz. At his first Dr's appt. he was back up to 9lb 13oz (7oz gain in 4 days). That was on breastmilk alone. A few days ago we stopped the breast feeding - he had to feed through a shield and he got so frustrated getting the milk to start flowing into the shield I just decided it wasn't worth it to see him that way.

I had my 1st follow up today and learned that I was 11lbs lighter than my prepregnancy weight. Yipee!! My doctor started to take off my steri-strips and I stopped him. I told him I have a very unrealistic fear that I'm just going to pop open. He laughed and assured me that wouldn't happen. But he was kind enough to leave the rest on.

Justin didn't win the pinewood derby race. He won 1 out of 3 races, though. So he was happy he at least won one race.

Tyler is doing well. We are going to start mall-walking with Joshua while Justin is in school.

Sky went back to work Thursday, I think - he was going stir crazy. Tonight is his first of 3 night shifts.

-----------------------------

I had tried a while ago to give y'all some information about the delivery however, I was having technical difficulties. One of my captions says 'thought I'd share some detail.' That's it - nothing more. I had added an entry but for some reason it didn't post properly. So, I'll try again - keeping it short and sweet. First, I had general anesthesia (they tried the spinal 4 times!). Joshua got knicked on the way out because my uterus was so scarred they had no idea where the baby was located, how he was laying, or how deep they needed to cut. I've been told before that my uterus was 'abnormal.' Anyway, he was super glued together and the scab is gone now. Those were the highlights. This was a much easier recovery than after having Justin and Tyler. Oh, I also got a vertical incision at my request. About 5 inches from belly button down.

OK, well, I hope this posts! Hope you all are enjoying the site.

For those of you, who like me, enjoy the sweet and innocent hiney shots! I was trying for an Anne Geddes thing, but hey - still cute, huh? I can't believe that for a two week old he's that big. Then at times I can't believe just how small he is.  Posted by Hello

We got 6 inches. However, it was so windy that in some places you can still see grass peeking through the snow and here, right out side of our garage - well, about 2 feet high. Posted by Hello

O.K.., I know I've got duplicates on here. I'm having technical difficulties. Bare with me. I'm typing one handed because someone likes to be held a lot. Well, Joshua had his 1st dr.'s appt. today. He weighed in at 9lbs, 13oz - when we left the hosp. he had dropped to 9lbs, 6oz. So, he's gained 7 oz in 4 days.  Posted by Hello

Me with Joshua.  Posted by Hello

Thought I'd share with all of you some details. Posted by Hello

Justin with his pine wood derby race car. I'll update everyone after the race. He's excited. Sky took him - just the two of them. The license on the car is FST * TRK. (fast track) Posted by Hello
