Our school district has introduced and established ALICE in case of an intruder. I would just like to say that i would honestly feel safer for my kids if they spent the money to fortify the building and even put in metal detectors/scanners. I have told my kids, and will continue to do so, to get behind all the other brave idiots and make sure a bullet hits them first. Sorry, but I'd rather invest resources in prevention - which SHOULD include required classes that encourage morals, ethics, role-playing, etc., for every student, every grade, at a minimum twice a week.
