Our Little Christmas 2015
The kids also got a sonicare toothbrush and an Axe kit. Joshua got a JBL speaker, Tyler got lots of accessories to go with his handgun. Plus they got some fun little things in their sticking as well as candy. Sky and the kids got me a Britta filter for the faucet and Justin also got me a device to wick charge my cell phone. The boys got Sky a chipping net and Justin got him a hilarious coffee mug for work.
Mimaw and Gordie got the kids a punching bag with speed ball bag. It'll get set up tomorrow. Dad and Wanda got us all cold hard cash - and Justin and Tyler wasted no time spending it!!!
Sky and the kids will leave soon for Christmas in GA. And I'll be have a grown up Christmas with mama, Gordie, and Robbie.
But our little Christmas was wonderful, and so were the very non-traditional tacos!!

Gordon Lightfoot at the Meyer
He's old but he's still good. I only knew a few of his songs but I enjoyed the show. It was nice that mama and I could go together.
Halloween 2015
Tyler went to a party. Justin had to work. So it was really just Joshua. He didn't feel so hot but insisted he go. So, the zombie costume was rather 'fitting.'

My Attempt at Senior Pictures!
I have called around and gotten quotes from $250 to $750. I find that insane. I keep only one, most current, pic of each kid on my walls. Otherwise I'd have over 40 pictures of my kids covering every area of wall in my house. It's not a look I'm fond of, personally. I have their pictures taken on their birthday every year. I never buy school pictures. But I only get what I need and have never spent more than $25. Places like Portrait Innovations don't like me much. But Justin wanted his senor picture taken outside, like everyone else. I figure if it's just going in the yearbook I could probably manage something myself. He's happy with the selection and so am I. People who spend that much on their kids pictures are nutso. Unless you know your kid is dying, I find it akin to highway robbery.
I Finally Did It
I've been wanting a handgun for several years. The idea first came while reading a book and I thought, 'why not?'
Sky told me he wanted to buy something and put on the credit card. After telling me how much and knowing if be ticked he quickly added, 'but you could so the same. Isn't there anything you want?'
Well, yes, actually. LOL! So, my hubby purchases himself a $5++ golf club, I got myself a nice handgun!
I did pretty darn good, I think. That was from 15'. I'm probably going to buy a membership to the shooting place. One thing I didn't expect was the casings flying into my shirt no-less. I think I might have a couple of burn marks on my boobs! Poor Tyler about lost it when I tried to retrieve the casing from my bra. It was burning me but it was too hot to pick up. I dropped back on myself and nearly stripped getting it to fall through my shirt to the ground. Poor kid!
