I painted the front door red - and my husband didn't kill me!

I painted the posts and trim b/c they were chipping and looked bad. By the time it was dry I looked at my door and gagged - it was awful! So, I figured it needed painting too! But, white's no fun. So, risking my life - I decided it was worth a little fun and went bold with Holly Berry! Wait a minute - LOL! Nevermind, I 'm thinking of Halle Berry. Haha! Anyway - Sky didn't kill me afterall. In fact, he quite likes it. I have a few minor touch ups to make but it's beautiful! :)

Friends

This is Joshua and Robert at their golf lessons at T-creek.

Fourth of July Snack

I believe I saw this on Pinterest -it was just too easy not to replicate. . .

New Look to Bulletin Board

I know it's not the best of pictures but - what a difference! I did two of these. I lightly sprayed adhesive to the bulletin board to help hold the fabric in place. Stretched it out with my hands and began the thumb-numbing task of tacking in over 200 silver tacks per board(I have two bulletin boards that I covered). Then, I simply folded the fabric back and stapled. All in all - it's a quick and easy project with a drastic change in looks. I didn't want to post pic's of the bulletin boards with nothing on them. I mean - they are bulletin boards for a reason. You put stuff on them. So, call it a truth in advertising pic. :)

Day Four - Noah's Ark!

Day Three - hanging at the campsite

I love making these collages and editing them in Pik Nic. I bought the boys wristbands that gave them unlimmited access to the jumping pillow, space ball, basket ball, dunk tank, water wars, mini golf, train rides, and bikes, trikes, and carts. There was also an amazing swimming pond with a fantastic beach area! It was a perfect day! I wish we had more of hanging at the campsite days - if we didn't need to be back in time for an appointment we would've stayed an extra day.

Day 2 - Six Flags

Day 2 consisted of a 3 hour drive to Chicago, arriving at 10am, to enjoy Six Flags Over Chicago! The boys had such a fun time (all 4 of them!)
