Camping at Mountain Glen in Dunlap, TN

When we first pulled into our site I was so upset! We managed to break our rear jack - again! I hate that our camper rides soooooo low. Then, our site sloped just under the awning which made it hard to walk (especially since it was a gravel pad). But - things did get much better. Sky and the kids did some fishing at the stocked fish & release pond. They got to catch tons of fish! We went & checked out Fall Creek Falls - didn't get to see too much but walked around George's Hole. (Oh, and crossed the blasted swinging bridge!) We checked out campsites there and were glad we wound up at Mountain Glen despite the lack of pool or playground. Saturday night we joined neighboring campers as they played guitar and sang by the campfire. That was really cool! And, you know you're in TN when the moonshine starts going 'round the campfire! I love it! (Did I just say that? I guess I'm beginning to like it here.) These guys are very talented and their families awesome. I enjoyed showing them what pudgy pies are and how to make donuts while camping. Luckily, we live close together so hopefully we'll get together again maybe camp together again in the future. Kind of cool, huh? I think so. Despite the rocky start and the on again/off again rain we didn't want to leave. Enjoy the pic's!
