Today was Joshua Alan Bryant's 4th birthday!
We kept it simple since we haven't made many friends here yet. Though, I suspect once he's in school we'll have to narrow down his list! So, it was just the 5 of us and we went to PlayWorld Down Under in Chattanooga. The kids played for about an hour then we headed to the Outback. Joshua had a gift card from Nana and Grandaddy & some cash from Aunt Nancy to spend so we went to Wal-Mart and Joshua picked out the coolest toy. (I swear I think we could keep Imaginext in business forever!) Then he picked out a small cake. We came home and got the pets settled and the we partied.
We sang Happy Birthday as Sky brought the cake out and then Joshua opened his presents from all of us. Joshua got the Leapster L-Max and a Lightning McQueen game to go with it. Now, it's like Joshua has a DS just like the boys - only his is way more fun! ;)
We all shared some cake and cookie dough ice cream before opening just one present and settling down for the night. All in all Joshua had a fantastic 4th birthday!

So IrriTatIng!!!! We finally got another offer by the people who've come to see the house - like 15 times! $185 = Sky said they can go F*** themselves! (Sorry for the foul language). Market Value at the time we put it on the market was $235-245! Of course, Sky and I felt it was worth $210. We're down now to $204. And these dipshits come at us with a $185 offer? I mean, come on - the house across from us is listed at $319! All of our neighbors are praying we don't sell for less that $200 - it'll bring their value down. We're talking dead end/access to Baird's Creek via foot path 3 houses down/15 minutes to Lambeau Field and the mall/less than 5 minutes to downtown GB/.6 miles to the elem school - not to mention all the amenities of GREEN BAY! OH, I'm so frustrated.
Well, wish us luck - we've been paying 2 mortgages for 6 months now.

Joshua with the cookies we made for his birthday with his daycare friends. I love the middle pic where Joshua is thinking hard about what he wants to do to his cookie - I've noticed this tongue habit numerous times. It's kind of funny. I can't believe my baby is turning 4 tomorrow! I'll never have another 3 year old. It's sad but, at the same time, I hope he listen's to me better as a 4 year old. - Nah! Doubt that'll happen.

1) Sky and Pebbles (she's a daddy's girl) 2) Joshua with his 'police officer' as he calls it 3) the boys at Granny's and Lena's playing with their new toy 4) the kids eating chicken stew at granny's (and I had - for the first time in my life - that green stuff you're supposed to eat on New Year's Day - ? collard greens/turnip greens - I forget. But, it was actually very good.
