We have a new addition to our family - 3 months and 18 days old!

Say hello to Ascher!

Denise, Tammy, ME, and Christine at Fox Hills for Jeff and Heather's wedding.

Will post a better pic later - but, Joshua loves his new bike daddy bought for him. He rides it so much better than his big wheel.

Waste not, Want not!

Justin was given the assignment to pick 5-7 things to fit into a brown bag that tell about him/family/likes, etc. I love the way he decorated his bag: Use The Force!

Wanda, Tyler, Justin, Joshua, and me in Lake Allatoona.

Grandpa Terry and Justin - Justin had a crick in his neck. But, he still had a good time.

I love this picture, it's so sweet. Grandma Wanda, Justin, and Tyler on Red Top Mtn.

Justin and Joshua on the bridge at Tilleda Falls. Our big excitement at night was walking half way down the bridge and watching the bats swarm. They'd get real close to us but, you know darn well the bats know how close they're getting. They know they aren't going to fly into us but, we don't have sonar!

Sky and the big boys - talk about entertainment - you should've seen Sky trying to get on this thing!

It would seem everyone camping this weekend had boys! All the boys played well, all were so polite, and everyone shared and no one whined about someone picking up something that didn't belong to them. I watched all these kids playing and I was entertained by the politeness. I believe there was about 3 or 4 families here at the beach the same time as us. Everyone used 'please' and 'thanks.' It was amusing!

Tyler's river.

Makin' friends!

Joshua covered in sand!

Our campsite at Tilleda Falls.

My beautiful boys!

Joshua in front of the river where we were camping. I think it's the Embarass River.

What a mess! He's tough!

O.k., would you just stop talking long enough for me to take a picture! - mama

Tyler - being picked up from school. He looks a little dazed. But, he's still so cute.

"But, I want to go to school!"

Justin catching up with old friends.

Tyler and his 2nd grade teacher, Dayna.

Opening day, scene 1.

First day of school!!!!!!

This is what happens when you speed and are not buckled up.
Oh, I better clarify before someone calls social services on me. This is a Little Tykes accident. Those toy cars really should come with seat belts - oh, and maybe they should suggest helmets, too.

Prior to the 1st day of school Tyler got to go drop off his bookbag and shcool supplies.

WOW! What a JUMP! Joshua isn't afraid of anything. He's got great form, too! Just perfect for a giant ball spalsh!

Mama and Joshua on the carousel. Daddy was with us that day - so, we all had a great time.

Tyler and Justin on the bumper cars at Funset Blvd. This was a fun day!

Proof! We were there!

What show-offs! The otters were putting on a great show for everyone.

OMG! I love the Prarie Dogs! They are so cute. Joshua was immitating them eating with his hands up close to his mouth and nibbling.

This was the most wonderful time to be at the zoo. In the 11 years I've been coming here I've never seen the penguins in the water. But, they were swimming this way and that, back and forth. It was great!

Goat feedin' time!

This is the younger of the two tortoises at the NEW Zoo. He was trying desperately to get out. It was so funny but, we were all a little worried he'd get stuck! He did wind up getting into a jam but, eventually worked his way out.

I could totally see Tyler shoveling coal! He enjoys hard labor - what I mean is Physical! labor.

See how big these trains are - and we're walking on a platform that's about 10 feet or more off the ground. This is the outside shed.

Tyler coming down into the lower dining room.

Upper dining room - this must have been nice back in the day!

Justin and Joshua checking out the bench seats that fold down into a single bed. I wonder if they were as lumpy then as they are now and if so, were they considered nice and comfortable for the time. These trains are - I'm guessing - > 50 years old. If I could read the signs outside I'd know, but, with kids (a 2 year old, mainly) reading isn't an option.

Inside the galley. We got to go in more places and see more than I remember from years before.

I love this pic!

All Aboard - we were the only ones on the train. Oh, they're already setting up the Haunted House for Halloween - I can't wait!

a trains snow plow - you should see it in person - it's enormous. We got to go inside and look out the top windows - very cool, kind of scary.

My boys at the National RR Museum in Green Bay. I am always amazed at the size of these trains. This is one of my favorite places to go. I'd like to go without the kids once.
