Sky said, "all you have to do is . . ." So, I said, "Go ahead." Honestly, I didn't think he'd take me seriously! Posted by Picasa

Oh dear! Does someone look worried? Posted by Picasa

After the salon! (Figured I'd have Justin's done too because he was way overdue.) They fixed Tyler's hair up as good as possible however around his face - well, it's kind of square. Posted by Picasa

SUFFERING FROM HPWD'S

(Harry Potter withdrawal's)

I finally finished reading the 6th book to the kids - and there's no telling how long we have to wait for the 7th book (I'll be standing in line way before midnight the day it is released!)

So, I headed off the the bookstore to find another adventure we could all share in. I had the hardest time trying to choose between 4 books. I wound up buying two. The two that I didn't get were Across the Nigtingale floor (the 1st in the Otori series) - looks so good but, maybe just a smidgin' over Justin's head. The other was a King Arthur book (can't remember exact title). Anyway, I choose two books for us to start reading. One Justin could read on his own but, I really like reading out loud and this book interests me, too. It's Garth Nix's The Keys to t he Kingdom, Mister Monday (1st of 3, I believe). I'll let you know how it is. The other is Tad Williams - The Dragonbone Chair - print is tiny and I believe it'll be complicated reading - but, I do think we'll like the story! I can't wait!!!! Now it's just a matter of which to read first. I guess I'll read the backs of both books to Justin and let him choose.

Justin is currently reading The DarkHills Divide and the Chronicles of Narnia books (2 books at once - I'm so proud!!!!) And, he'll only turn 8 next month.

If anyone has any really good book ideas let me know. (Eragon received some not-so-flattering reviews yet I've heard some really good reviews too. So, we'll wait on that one a bit.)

There's my little buddy - watching the fairly oddparents - sometimes I feel like one. Posted by Picasa

I have my own 3 man soccer team! Whohoo! Posted by Picasa

There's my turkey!  Posted by Picasa

No awards for the raingutter ragatta (or as I kept screwing it up - the raingatta regutter.) This is Justin's Code Lyoco boat and a participation ribbon. Posted by Picasa

That's my baby! Joshua Alan - (we've been having to use the middle name a lot lately.) Posted by Picasa

There I am - I do believe that I've lost a bit more weight in my face in the last 10 days, too. Posted by Picasa

The Three Little Lily Goats Gruff, performed by the Wrightstown Elem 2nd grade students. From left to right: the bridge, middle lily goat, little lily goat, big lily goat, the troll (Justin - that one's mine!), and the narrator. Justin was so good and he had a pretty big part. I was so proud and got lots of video! Posted by Picasa

"Who's that walking on my bridge?????" Posted by Picasa

My little troll on the left! He was so good! Posted by Picasa

Me, Tammy, Christine, and Pam took the kids to Soccer Heaven (an indoor soccer field) to run and expend some pent up winter energy! Posted by Picasa

Justin's idea of Time Management

Justin gets up on his own in the mornings to his alarm clock and pretty much gets completely ready, breakfast and all by the time I get up to see him out the door and onto the bus. I told him last night that he needed to take a shower this morning because it had been 2 days since his last shower. I come into the living room this morning and find him watching - Dark Water! I haven't even seen it yet - I let my kids watch scarry movies but, I do watch them first and decide if I think my kids can handle them (they love scarry movies). So, I reprimanded him for that. Then, it occured to me his hair was pointing in all directions and still dry. I asked him if he'd taken his shower this morning and this was the reply I got:

No because I had to eat cereal this morning and it takes longer to eat cereal than a pop tart and we were out of pop tarts.

Priorities! So, my son stinks and he'll be taking a shower when he gets home. I do love the things children say and do - so entertaining.

Our new Camper! It's a 2004, 26 footer, sleeps 8. And, it's got lots of storage inside and out! Can't wait to go camping!!! Happy Trails, Y'all! Posted by Picasa

Me and Sky had to test the awning. I don't know how big it is but, it seems big enough.  Posted by Picasa

Through the door is the bathroom. It's a triple bunk to the left, each with it's own window. The kids are excited about this - even Joshua had fun crawling around on the lower bunk. We might actually buy a tiny gate and secure him on the top bunk. We got some time to think about it. Posted by Picasa

The dining room table. Posted by Picasa

The bedroom of our camper. There is a stand for a TV in here and a sliding door, too. Lots of storage but, I hear that after a while - I won't think so. Posted by Picasa

The dining room table sleeps two (skinny people). Posted by Picasa

It was hard getting a good view of the whole bathroom.  Posted by Picasa
