Yipee! We found the second cache! Posted by Picasa

O.k. I hadn't been on a sing in years - Sky was pushing me quite high. I had fun (even if I did look a little silly - boy, I need a tan). :) Posted by Picasa

Looking for a cache but didn't find it. We had fun playing at the park anyway. Posted by Picasa

Tickle U

I had it marked on my calendar to watch Tickle U on Cartoon Network 9-11am EST. Anyway, I'm watching and the format reminded me of something I spent hours watching when I was little at Granny's house. It was called Pinwheel and it came on Nickelodeon. I remember thinking it was about 6 hours long and consisted of segments of different entertainment: cartoon/gumby/real kids/etc. All the segments were short but like I said - I remember it lasting about 6 hours. I distinctly remember a bunny trying to run away and some mishaps with packing his bags and socks flying all over the place. And, of course, Gumby!

So anyway, Tickle U is supposed to encourage kids to have more humor or to use humor to get over 'things' rather than getting all upset and pitching fits. At least, that is my understanding. I was watching it this morning and I like that the segments are short and blow over mishaps, focusing not on what caused the little mishaps but what was done, and with a positive attitude, to correct the issue.

New Books

I got the chance to go to Barnes & Noble today - alone - all by myself - no kids in tow. Strange, that was. Anyway, I got me the 5th book in Janet Evanovich's Full series, a re-release of Back to the Bedroom, and and book by Anne George called Murder on a Girls Night Out. It's the first in her Southern Sisters Mysteries. I'll have to let you all know how it is. Anyway, I wish I knew how to post links on the side of my blog. Since I don't I invite you all to check out www.evanovich.com. Janet is by far my favorite writer. I love the Plum series! And, her website is a lot of fun, too. There is another series I really, really like - it's the Blackbird Sisters Mysteries by Nancy Martin.

I'm going to try to start writing more as well as posting lots of pictures.

Let me share something cute. Last night Chandler spent the night (he's a friend of Justin's from shcool and Boys Scouts). Justin and Chandler had just gone to bed and me and Tyler were about to go to bed. Sky decided to hit the covers before us and out of habit said, 'night boys.' I looked at him with disbelief - jaw open. Tyler laughed and said, 'she's not a boy, she's a grown-up.'

Just so you all know, you can leave comments right here on my blog. Underneath each entry/picture is the word comment written in green and a number - usually 0. You can click on comment and leave feedback. If you try this and it doesn't work email me to let me know.

Love to all - Good night!

New Toy!! Since he's pulling to standing and starting to creep a little bit we bought him this. He really enjoys it and it'll convert into a ride-on. Posted by Picasa

He's such a mess when he eats - can't decide if he'd rather eat his meal or his fingers. Posted by Picasa

Baby Butt

Well, Josh has a nasty rash on his butt. I'm taking him to the doctor on Monday. That's the reason for all the nudey time. And, of course, we can't have nudey time without camera shots.

Will update after we see the doc.

Kids riding their bike at the newest park we've found while geocaching. Posted by Picasa

Hard to believe he's doing so much at 7months. Tonight he was actually pulling himself up to standing in the tub. Now that can be quite dangerous - since he's so top heavy. He loves splashing around, and even dipping his head under. Just like Justin and Tyler did. He'll be a water bug, too. Posted by Picasa

Josh plays well in his playpen when we check out new parks and playgrounds. He was downing his dinner and falling asleep while the rest of us ate our pic nic right beside him on a blanket. Posted by Picasa

My big boy - sucking on a fat lip (decided it'd be fun to catch the ball with his lip). :) His hair has really lightned up this summer, too. Posted by Picasa

Tyler - how handsome is he? Check out those dimples. And, see how light his hair has gotten this summer. He's a cutie! Posted by Picasa

Sky was playing with the kids on this Jungle Gym. The poles on the inside are for sliding down - so, naturally. But what was so funny is once he got down to the ground he realized - he was stuck. He tried climbing up but at an inward angle it was a wee bit difficult. He tried going through the bars but he didn't fit all that well. In the end Sky wound up having to lay on the ground and go under. It was really funny.  Posted by Picasa

Blue Eyes! Aint he cute!? Posted by Picasa

Josh Posh! Pretty eye, huh? Just like his brothers. Posted by Picasa

Justin was getting picked and prodded by the baby. He's become quite 'grabby' now. Justin is looking forward to going to second grade. From what I hear he's got one of the best teacher's this year. :) Posted by Picasa

Tyler - has grown so much in the last couple of months! He's looking forward to kindergarten in September. He'll get to ride the bus with Justin. He goes every Turesday and Thursday and every other Friday - all day long. Posted by Picasa
